DOT = Drifta Offroad Tourer

We have been fortunate enough to be in a position to be able to purchase one of the best off road trailers you will find in Australia. Manufactured in Gloucester, New South Wales by a bunch of absolute legends, Luke and his Drifta team have really thought about everything.

Every DOT trailer has a unique build number and we are number 373.

Our DOT is what they call a DOT 6 Equip trailer. We have had it setup with all the mod cons and everything you will find in their top of the range trailer with the exception of the roof top hardtop tent and independent suspension. We have camped with our Oz Tent RV3 for quite some time now and we really enjoy sleeping in a tent. So for now we have decided to continue to use the Oz Tent and it works well with the trailer setup. We also chose to go with the leaf spring suspension over the independent with air bags for simplicity, cost and the ease of repairs in the event of something going wrong in the middle of nowhere.

At some point in the future we will add a roof top tent to the trailer, and the beauty with Drifta is you can send it back to them and they will add or change whatever you need.
