So there are a lot of people out there sharing bush cooking recipes but usually I find they are from really experienced cooks and what is involved is just too difficult for most people (like ourselves) to do when out camping. The gear that they use as well means you’d need a couple of trailers to pack all the stuff away. And look when we go out camping we are usually out exploring and sometimes don’t get back into camp later in the afternoon or evening and don’t have hours to get dinner ready.

So we are sharing some of the bush cooking meals that we cook when we head out, how we cook and what gear we use. We are not experienced cooks by any means and a lot of what we cook is from reading other stories online and a bit of trial and error.
